Spinning Plates
Instangram is awkward for sizing sometimes so i thought i’d try to revive this spot. Some scans and photos of a novice etching plate made 2009 at Wharepuke in Kerikeri, New Zealand, with the help of excellent artist & teacher Mark Graver who also authored Non Toxic Printmaking (A&C Black 9781408113257 ).
School of Cockrum
Coming soon as an A4 edition this 18 x 27cm collage is assembled from a digest edition of the Dave Cockrum illustrated Giant-size/Uncanny X-Men #94-102. Really pleased with the execution of a trickier than expected idea, even managed to squeeze a little Stan Lee in there. I have yet to think of a suitable title...

Trying something slightly different although they are again 12x12cm. I'm pretty sure about one but not the other. Printed paper reproductions of photographs of textiles on printed paper reproductions of photographs of decorated endpapers. Is that meta or pata-physical?
