I selected images to explode within measured parameters, attempting to reposition them comfortably while retaining some of the source element's balance or essence with added colour. I imagined it to be like cracking open the image as artefact searching for the colour of it's soul! All 12x12cm, paper and acrylic paint on paper. Mounted in Pale Ivory 23x23m square acid free mat, hinged and backed but easily removed if re-framing is desired.
